Video 1: Communication
In this first video, we’ll break down the different types of communication styles so you can make sure you’re communicating with people in a way they understand.
Recognizing that not everyone communicates the same way you do, this first video is the bedrock upon which to build your foundational leadership. You will receive all the tools you need to navigate every kind of relationship intersection so you can always lead from a heart-centered position.
Video 2: Listening Skills
One superpower women have is our ability to listen and empathize. This video will teach you to tap into your natural listening talents, to learn to understand yourself and the people around you on a deeper level. You will begin to “hear” your words and “see” their impact before you speak them.
In addition, by learning how to tap into visceral listening, you can learn some simple techniques to help you not take things personally.
Video 3: Decision Making
When people are not sure what to do next, they look to a leader to illuminate the path. When you’re in a leadership position, everyone around you depends on you for quick, smart decisions. Indecisiveness is a killer in the business world, but at the same time you don’t want to impulsively jump into every opportunity. This video provides you the tools to make better decisions, even in tough situations. Using the skills from the first two videos, you’ll be able to tap into your own powerful energy while being able to clearly communicate your vision.
Video 4: Delegation
Most of us try to do everything. We want to be superwoman and are afraid of asking for help when we need it. Instead of viewing delegating as a way to offset responsibility, this video will teach you how to view it as a way to maximize more of your unique skill set. Learn what you should be delegating in your schedule and how to find the right person to get it done.
Video 5: Mentoring
Once you learn how to delegate, it’s essential to empower people to take care of the tasks you give them. Often, this will mean you’ll need to step in as a mentor and help guide them to get it done. This video will teach you how to mentor without being a micromanager; instead teach people how to step into their own masculine and feminine power to get things done.
Video 6: Fine Lines
As a leader, it is easy to get overwhelmed and push yourself too far. Sometimes the energy drain can come from inside your own team, which you’ll have to carefully navigate. This video will teach you how to navigate exhaustion and bring back the excitement and passion in your own life and employees.

About the Instructor
René Murata began her career in the industry of gas and oil. She spent over 15 years learning to navigate the challenges of being a woman in a male-dominated industry, spending many of those first years trying to “fit the mold”.
However, soon after starting her own consulting business, she realized that “the mold” was a poor fit so she started playing with her management style until she found something that empowered both her and her team.
She then spent time developing a consistent and conscious methodology that could be duplicated, intent on bringing compassion into the leadership conversation.
René believes that our true self, the essence of our Being, is rooted in love and compassion. Therefore, to become a truly powerful leader, we must tap into and learn to lead with those same qualities.
Thus, CEO Essence was founded with the vision to share, teach, and empower compassionate leadership.
